Custom Instrumentation

Many times, off-the-shelf instrumentation does not do exactly what is required in the field. In such cases, custom instrumentation may be required. For our custom instrumentation design, we refer our customers to Aurora.

Aurora was a pioneer in the development of automatic TDR leak detection systems. They have also designed downhole remote logging/transmitting piezometers and ultrasonic density difference systems, amongst other geotechnical instruments. They are presently developing a single hole/single cable, read/transmit TDR system for application in remote areas.

Aurora can provide assistance in electronic systems and board-level design of instrumentation, monitoring, data transmission and data display. They have a considerable amount of experience in designing, producing and fielding embedded microcontroller systems in which distributed processing is employed.
